He

~Every scar tells a story, every smile hides one~

He is like a coconut—tough, unyielding, and seemingly impossible to crack. To the world, he is distant, cold, and unreadable, his exterior built from years of keeping emotions locked away. His face rarely betrays what he feels, his words are measured, and his presence is like an impenetrable wall. People assume he doesn't care, that he is detached, maybe even heartless. They see his silence as indifference, his sharp tone as hostility, and his lack of warmth as proof that there's nothing soft beneath his hardened shell.

But they are wrong.

Because those who truly know him—his family, his closest loved ones—see the side of him that the rest of the world never will. Beneath that rough, cold exterior lies something rare and precious, something soft, full of warmth, and deeply protective. He does not express love the way others do, but it's there, in the smallest gestures. It's in the way he stays up late waiting for his younger sibling to get home safely. It's in how he silently fixes things around the house without being asked. It's in the way he remembers tiny details about his loved ones.

He doesn't believe in flowery words or grand displays of affection. He won't say "I love you" often, but he will stand between you and the world if it dares to hurt you. He will scold you for being reckless, not because he's angry, but because he worries too much to say it differently. He will push you to be strong, but if you ever truly fall, he will be the first to catch you—quietly, without making a show of it.

To outsiders, he is just a hard shell, untouchable and distant. But to the ones he loves, he is something rare—steadfast, unwavering, and fiercely protective. Because a coconut may be tough on the outside, but inside, there is something real, something nurturing, something meant only for those who earn their way in.
